Our Mission
The TMJ Dance Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering children and families in communities with limited access to dance education. Serving over 100 families annually, we collaborate with more than 5 school districts and charter schools across 3 states and 2 countries to make dance education equitable and accessible.
Our mission is to provide high-quality classical training, educational outreach, and live performance opportunities, ensuring that every child, regardless of background, can experience the enrichment and discipline that dance offers.
Community Outreach
Through our outreach initiatives, we integrate social-emotional learning, literacy development, and health and wellness into our dance education programs.
By engaging with schools, community centers, and local organizations, we provide enriching experiences that build confidence, creativity, discipline, and resilience in every student we serve.
Affordable Dance Training
Each year, we proudly award $20,000 in scholarships to students training in our school, ensuring they receive comprehensive dance education in ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip-hop, cultural dance, and more.
In addition, we provide over $10,000 in funding to help students attend prestigious international training intensives, exposing them to world-class instruction and broadening their artistic horizons.​
